Zlin, villa of Tomas Bata, Sat 6.11. 2004 - performance in honour of St. Cecilia
This action was planned and organized by
Karel Dvoracek
from Zlin, who arranged a performance shared
between his three choir groups, viol players from Vienna, led by
Michael Brüsssing, and us.
We arrived Friday night and managed one late rehearsal before going to sleep.
The rehearsing continued the next day and the performance took place in the afternoon.
The main part of the first half was four voice mass by William Byrd,
after the intermission there was a varied program of Karel Dvoracek's ansambles,
extended from Bach and Jezek to spirituals.

Sunday morning, before we left, we sung and played two parts of the Byrd's mass during the church service.
